2002 gmc Denali xl keeps blowing the brake lights

Yukon what ? XL , Denali , 2 or 4 wheel drive ?

My GM service info shows it as a 10amp not 2amp
TBC Fuse #60 10A is fuse #60 same yours ?

the obd 2 scanner power up at the 16 dlc terminal on the obd 1 type need cigarette lighter.

Motor relay circuit this is for the ABS, you will need ot restore the third eye brake light and check fuse in the engine junction fuse box, (cigarette lighter fuse) make sure it didnt open

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, Now hook it back up, turn the key on engine off, leave it on for 3 minutes, now crank it up.

If the fuse blows is because you have a cut in the making or in the trailer wiring

add freon it is low

I received your 3rd brake light flash controller-fully adjustable ez fit kit. installed on my 2002 gmc sierra, power coming into box, good ground and unit is not working. third brake light works good with kit removed. any help would be appreciated. thank you for your time.

Check your brake light switch at the pedal. This controls the lights and disengages the cruise when stopping. I'd look there before I go anywhere else. There may just be a wire loose. Could be a simple fix.

1ST THING TO CHECK IS THE STOP LAMP FUSE . FUSES LOCATED LH SIDE UNDER HOOD. THIS FUSE ALSO POWERS THE ACC. CIRCUT IN TRUCK. ALOT OF TIMES, LAP TOPS, DVD PLAYERS ETC. OVERLOAD CIRCUT & FUSE BLOWS.

Check your bulbs first, I have lost both headlights on my ford at once on account of the bulbs burning out at the same time. Same thing probably happen, you have one filament out. The lights can work, but if the filament for brake is burnt, you don't see brake lights.

As for the cruise control. Check fuse box first. If OK check vacuum hose to actuator in engine compartment for starters.
