I had the same problem. I unplugged the relays from the fuse/relay box under the bonnet. (Top left side) and replaced them. The problem disappeared. (2001 Prius 109,000 miles)

I had the same problem. I removed the relays from the fusebox under the bonnet/hood (top left side) and then replaced them. All working OK now. Sometimes I have had a problem when I start the car (especially after rainy day) the petrol engine immediately dies and I can only drive in electric. I have found that if I turn the ignition off and then restart it and immediately pump the accelerator it makes the engine run OK. Hope this helps.

Problem is resolved,
I pulled & giggled a couple of fuses, found one fuse that had an extend fuse container was probably not quite seated right. Will notify dealer & replace several working fuses with new. rr

That symbol is the Low TIre Pressure Warning. It tells you that your tire pressures are low.

This the hybrid master warning light, which means the system has detected a malfunction, there are many causes that turn the light on, there are about 24 computers involved, the best advise I can come up with is that you have the toyota dealer check this and diagnose it, this may also still be under the powertrain or hybrid vehicle warranty

The red triangle light, check engine light and VSC light are all on, plus the top 1/4 of the display screen is dark except for an outline of a car in the top left.

My wife is on a 6 hr trip home and her Check engine light, Red exclamation point with Triangle and warning brake light came off. We are new to hybrids but are trying to figure out if it will make it home....

The only fast solution is to drive to the nearest AutoZone, they will decode the engine light, and will give you a print uot of the code and code explanation, for free. After you will find out and decide to continue the trip or other options. Good Luck.

Warning lights

On a Prius, when the check engine light comes on it indicates a malfunction in the powertrain control system. You need to have the car scanned for codes to see where the fault lies. The red triangle lights because the check engine light is on. The VSC is disabled when the check engine light is on and that light comes on.
