I seem to recall that the high voltage battery has a module that identifies it to the car. If that is the case, you need to go to the dealership or call a mobile auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to program in the details of VIN number and mileage. You must get a reading from the codes. this could be anything from a bad HV battery cell to a bad CVT (transmission). So without codes you cannot tell which component is in error. Go to walmart or harbor freight and pick up an inexpensive code reader, then you might save a few buck or some auto parts stores offer free readings - Auto Zone does I think. Get the codes, then you can look them up online.

The problem may be the check engine light only, whenever it turns on the master warning light may also turn on, if there is an autozone or similar autoparts place close by you can go there and they can diagnose the check engine light using their scantool, then you can reply here to me with the code numbers and I can help, the code numbers are important so please write them down.

Scan the car and locate the problem.

if it was a recall or a service advice from toyota then I would advise talking wit a legal adviser dealers are obliged to do all service notice up grades or recalls as it doesn't cost them as the manufacturer pays for it you may contact toyota on their customer service line and talk direct to a technician about the problems

The abs is part of the safety system in that it stops the wheels from locking up under heavy braking. This allows you to steer the vehicle out of a bad situation. During normal braking the ABS does not work as the wheels are turning and so there is no requirement for the system to work If you wish to continue driving and are considerate in that you drive responsibly there is no need to race it to replace the system. I would seek a second opinion from an accredited brake specialist shop as the dealer may only want to sell parts and not repair the unit

well you need to drain all diesel fuel, install a new fuel pump and filter, clean injectors, get it running and go from there, fix any code the comes on, one think.... fuel tank or fuel cell called also a bladder may need to be replace if collapsed due to diesel caracteristics, the longer you wait the more damage, hope you did not drain EV battery down to zero charge, it takes an special charger only available at your dealer by request to Toyota head quarters

Toyota has had to extend the service warranty because of these codes. The main problem lies in the dealer or service center adding too much oil during an oil change. Any other symptoms? Has the car been difficult to start lately? Were the lights dim or flickering when you got into the car. You may want to check the aux battery since it's easy to diagnose. There are two batteries in the Prius. The aux battery in the trunk, it wakes up the computer which then wakes up the traction battery.
