There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle. The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.
The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.
The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.
First thing to do is get an multi-meter and set it to DC Volts and see if you have continuity.
You should have a fuse box inside the cabin of the vehicle somewhere. Look for this and check those fuses as well.
The fact that you have more than one cigarette lighter says you have a cigarette lighter and also have an Auxiliary output. The auxiliary will have more Amps output than the regular cigarette lighter will.
If the fuses all check out the trace the wires back with said multi-meter to see where the problem with the wiring is. I have seen the bottoms go out on them and a simple replacement fixes the problem. That's why the continuity check, trace where the power feed is failing and repair it. That's really what this will come down to. Bad socket, bad wiring, blown fuse or you have an issue with the adapter you are trying to use. Keep in mind that the actual cigarette lighter and auxiliary power output will have separate fuses because they are meant to do separate things.
If you have any questions then leave them here for me.
Hello: Open hood, on driver side there is a fuse box, remove the cover and check the fuse, if fuse is open, replace it. If you used a device in the lighter receptacle that may have caused the fuse to open.
The cigarette lighter fuse is located in engine compartment under hood.
Engine Compartment Fuse Block: The under-hood fuse block is located on the driver side
of the engine compartment. Lift the cover to access the fuse/relay block.Fuse number 29 is cig lighter fuse.
