Is the battery at 12.6vcd rested? or way low, BINGO 1
is the battery at 12.3vdc to 15v running, no, bingo 2.
the EFI system on all cars will not run right with very low battery volts.
will not.
so it dont start at all now, but does it CRANK fast and robustly
if the car can not crank it surely can not start
my M/T cars can be push starter, gravity started and jumper started
or normal started .
so..... tell about the starter first.

"key sometime not turn the ignition either."
elaborate that? do you have like 100 keys on a ring
like what kills all GM cars and is in the news right now.
for massive recall (NOT TURNS or turns SELF now?)
huge keys rings wreck all cars made ignitions ALL.
not just GM they are getting punished for huge keys and all do that.
see the recall?
get the car fixed for free iif the key fails, now is your moment in time.

turn on the news see the GM headline?>
it's on WSJ every day for a week.
are you DIY?
are you with tools, meters? even a $10 walfart meter?
yes/no/
if yes. you can fix many things wrong. if motivated.

1:check all fuse, test with for 12vdc on both sides key on.
2: make sure all things are dead key off but head lights do work key off if turned on this is law based.
3: are any cluster lights on key off and removed.
4: check lamps inside car and outside, any stuck on?
5: does engien crank fast?
6: does the CEL dash lamp turn on key on before cranking.
same for charge and oil, they glow as self tests. do they?
or they too stick on?

????
on at different times.what times.???????
when any engine stalls, zero RPM, the cluster goes to self test.
it does that. and is not warnings. at all.
all cars do that. it's a feature.
at keyon or stalls.
RTM read the operators guide it tells you that fact.

ray, the ABS sensor will never fix a jammed ignition key, and is a very serious, failure. read, never to be ignored, as GM did and now dead folks, see the news 13 dead.

SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Impala Traction control /ABS problem

i have a 2002 chevrolet impala and the same thing happened to me. abs light came on as well as my traction controll light. when i would step on the gas or brakes my car sounded like the brake pads were skiping against my rotors. i had my hub sensor replaced 5 times. the machanic kept telling me it was the part that need to be replaced.they hooked it up to have a dianostic done and the computer keep telling them to replace the hub sensor. so finally we brought my car to an electric auto shop. they found it was a loose wire that was turning my brakes on and off.(haywire)they fix my car in 30mins.

SOURCE: code p0300 and p1406

P0300 is misfire and p1406 is EGR. It sounds like you have a chunk of carbon stuck in the EGR valve. Remove the valve and clean the carbon from the valve, bottom side. Then install a screened gasket so it won't happen again.

SOURCE: engine check light p0300

P0300 is a "random/ multiple cylinder misfire detected" and can happen if you change plug wires and cross two when re-installing them (which I did on my 99 Jimmy just 2 weeks ago), or it could mean one of the coilpack coils is failing, etc..

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

2008 traction control and engine light on

your powertrain warranty will cover the check engine light most likely as long as you are under a hundred thousand miles and the traction control light is most likely related to the engine light, Take your vehicle to your local chevrolet dealer, or if you are beyond the mileage have autozone or checker pull the Diagnostic trouble code out and it will lead you to the most likely cause of the problem

where do you hear moaning sound coming from ? Under the hood in engine bay ? That could be the ABS pump motor ! maybe going bad . service traction control light on ? DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code or codes stored . Have codes checked .

I have a 2006 Chevy Impala 3.5L. Lopes while driving.

A code P0011 refers to the VVT (variable valve timing) or VCT (variable camshaft timing) components and the car's PCM (powertrain control module, also called an ECM). That consists of a few different components but the P0011 DTC specifically refers to the camshaft (cam) timing. In this case, if the cam timing is above a set limit (over-advanced), the engine light will be illluminated and the code will be set. The "A" camshaft is either the intake, left, or front camshaft.
A P0011 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:
  • Incorrect camshaft timing
  • Wiring problems (harness/wiring) in intake timing control valve control solenoid system
  • Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber
  • Failed timing valve control solenoid (stuck open)
This DTC code is a result of a mechanical fault of the VCT unit or related components, so there is no need for electrical diagnosis. Refer to vehicle specific repair manual to perform component tests for the VCT unit. Notes: Dealer techs have advanced tools and the ability to follow detailed troubleshooting steps, including the ability to test components using a scan tool.

2003 Chevy Impala Service Traction Sytem show on Dash

I can't answer the question about the gas fumes, but I had the same problem last year with the "Service Traction Sysytem" message and the Trac and ABS lights coming on in my Impala. Mine turned out to be because of a bad wheel bearing, that was causing the ABS and traction system not to work. I'm not sure if you've experienced this, but another thing that would happen with mine was that I would go to brake and have a hard time depressing the brake pedal, almost like it was pushing back. That is the point when the Trac and ABS lights came on.

Service traction system message on dash

This light is usually caused by a problem in the ABS system. A problem in the ABS system will dissable the traction control system. you will need to have the computers scanned for trouble codes.
