My 2003 Lincoln Navigator has given me so much problems, it shakes, makes annoying sound, and sometimes it turns off by itself when I'm in a stop sign or red light! I have taken it to 3 different mechanics who have said that the diagnostic shows that it's not gettting furl? They've tried changing spark plugs, gas filter...any suggestions?
Remove battery, remove windshield washer bottle, remove air compressor and disconnect both air lines from the compressor dryer. Make sure compressor electrical wiring is plugged in, install battery, turn suspension switch to ON, turn ignition switch to the ON position, close all door and the compressor should come on and completely lower the whole truck. Once the truck is completely down, turn the ignition OFF, remove battery and connect both air lines. Install battery ensure electrical wiring is plugged in, turn ignition switch to ON, the compressor should come on and raise the vehicle to the correct ride height.
we had this problem in our shop the other day and there was water in the air lines so we put air line deicer in the lines when the truck was warm in the shop and cycled the suppension twice with a jack. you can find deicer in many truck stops and auto pat stores that sell truck parts
