SOURCE: I have a 2004 S

I had the same problem and found that this is caused by the Dual heater Control Valve malfunctioning.

The DHCV can be purchased at Rock Auto Parts for around 150.00 and can be replaced in around 30 minutes. This valve controls the hot water flow for the heater core for each side of the passenger compartment and when it fails, it's default is "open" which allows the hot water to flow freeley for whatever side failed. It is located on the passenger side front about 6 inches down from the top of the radiator. You will need some patience and some mechanical skill to replace it but its not terrible.

SOURCE: 02 Jaguar S Type - Heater blowing cold air

Has the vehicle overheated recently, if not there is a failure of the Coolant from engine valve controller, that measures flow through the Heater Matrix. Come back with more, as necessary.

I have a 1975 k5 blazer and it blows cold air it worked fine last year but now it only blows cold air even on the defrost setting what can the problem be and how can I fix it?

A vent flap actuator probably needs to be replaced. It's what moves your vent flaps from heat to A/C or to plain "vent air" when you change settings.

The discussion in the link includes vent flap actuators. Unfortunately, they also include the infamous no low speed fan problem too.

Cannot get any air from dash vents while defrost and floor vents work fine...

Your particular actuator will be a different one than they found.
They're all a absolute pain to get at because they can be well buried in the dash. I would start looking under the dash on the passenger side, that's where most of the air control is. Cannot get any air from dash vents while defrost and floor vents work fine...

Heat does not blow inmy 2004 x-type jag. Window condense up on defrost t times .why can't i get the heat to flow in the flow, only have defrost

Not a fuse. Condensation on window indicates plugged heater core or heater core needs replaced.
Also check for bad headgasket.

No heat jaguar 88 xj6 fan wont turn on cool air out the defrost vent

I have the similar problem with both my Jaguars, one is a 1988 Jaguar XJS, the other is a 1987 Jaguar XJ6, both blow COLD air out some vents while it blows warm air for heat. I heard it had something to do with the cold air blowing as a dehumidifier, I don't know if this is true, but it is really annoying to have both cold and warm air blowing when I need heat in these cold Canadian winters. If you find out please drop this website a note and let us know how you solved it. thanks.

A/C only from center vent. Heat from side vents and floor vents.

sounds like the blend motor from hot to cold is stuck open half way allowing both temps to come into the car.
