Diagram for reconnecting vacuum lines on 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Nancy, There should be a vacuum hose diagram under the hood of your Sante Fe, either on the underside of hood or on the radiator support. Contact the dealer and they can print it off for you also.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

I have a coolant leak on the top of my main

I would assume you have the same problem I did, where the plastic header is cracking. I put some stop leak in the radiator, and that worked for a while but then the crack got so big it wouldn't seal. I tried epoxy over the crack and melting the crack closed but it still cracked back open. Ended up just changing the radiator and I made a video showing how I did it.

My hyundai Santa fe is leaking transmission fluid somewhere at the front of the engine. I can't see it because of the skid plate. Any ideas of what it could be?

Good Evening. Unfortuantely there is no easy path to a right answer here without removing the skid plate. In front of the engine are transmission cooler lines and other miscellania. The best advice i could give you is take down the skid plate and have a can of brake cleaner handy to clean everything off while you have it turned off then have someone turn it on for you so you can visually see where it is coming from. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

05 Santa Fe 3.5 overheat at idle,ok going down road. coolant level ok, fans ok.

hi, sounds like a clogged radiator, i have seen this problem in other hyundai cars, not on the santa fe though. if you have availibility to a large floor mounted or post mounted fan(just about any larger fan will work) put it in front of the radiator when it is over heating and see if the temp cools at all. there maybe either be something clogging the flow on the outside of the radiator, or possibly inside the radiator. The only other thing to check is the thermostat, stuck thermostats can go either way, stuck closed or open. or even partially open so as to restrict flow greatly. it would be a good idea to have it replaced no matter what you find actually causing the overheat condition. hope this helps.
