Car has engine codes p0174 and p1101 no real difference in running notice slight baug when engine is throttled need to know most likely cause engine code is very broad spectrum of issues
Try taking some throttle plate cleaner and while the car is cold spray it around behind the throttle body. on a lot of Cadillac's their is a rubber boot between the throttle body and the upper intake and it splits and can give you a lean condition. it is air unacounted by the mass air flow sensor. or if you have a fuel filter. may be clogged.

First thing you have to do is list all the codes, because some some might be stored for a long time. Pushing the OFF and WARM buttons together and holding will ghive you all the stored codes. Then press OFF and HI together to clear all codes. Hold and wait for bars or 0's. Now start your car and let it get up to proper operating temps. Take car for aride that aincludes all phases of driving including highway speeds. Observe SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT for coming on . Assuming it does , repeat steps previously provided, read codes stored and repair accordingly. If need be contact me with new codes and I will try to assist you.

If you like go ahead and let someone sell and replace your transmission but here is my suggestion! Check around and see if you can find a minor vacuum leak! This can simply be the big round hose that goes from the fuel injection to the power brake hub! This is normally a push in connector which has about a 1/2 inch hose clamped on it! If there is any kink or the connector is not in correctly a leak will occur and the transmission will shift rough as though you will be thrown out of the vehicle! Try unplugging this connector and plug it back in hard and straight and maybe you will be lucky and fix your problem. If the vacuum is correct your transmission will shift better than you have ever experienced!

I sure wish they wouldnt put dummy lights in vehicles but instead there should be gauges because if it is oil pressure theres probably damage to motor because those dummy lights come on when its pretty much to late to stop damage..

i have a feeling the problem is not the sensors, they are reading lean indicates that air is getting into the engine around monitored system, basically a vacuum leak, which causes surging, also get a real time engine monitor not just a code scanner, some even have snapshot capabilities that will freeze the readings when something abnormal happens, just don't go replacing parts without knowing why
