SOURCE: dash lights, tail lights, brake lights, not working 1965 mustang

Probably either a bad ground (broken wire, rust) or a bad headlight switch. The brake light circuit goes from the stop switch (Located up above the brake pedal) through the headlight switch, through the light bulbs to ground. The tail light circuit goes through the headlight switch, through the bulbs and to ground. The only things that are in common are the headlight switch (Is this the switch you replaced?) and ground.
Not much, but hope this helps.

SOURCE: tail lights don t work

Remove the headlamp switch. Check power at the brown wire. If you have power then the problem is after the switch. If you don't have power with the headlamps on then recheck the fuses.

SOURCE: brake lights stopped working 1998 mustang

Fuse panel is under the dash also as I have found with my own graceful daughter, there is a brake light switch that connects to the brake pedal itself. It is hard to get to and even harder to see but a lot of times these switches get bumped and they can not make connection when the brake pedal is depressed. Hope this helps

" dim headlights "? None of your lights should be 'dim'. You have 4 lights.

Side Lights.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
Low Beam Headlights.
High Beam Headlights.

Here are the fuses, check fuse 5 and D although they covers more items than lights. Your best bet is to find a good local auto-electrician.

I put a painless wiring on my 65 mustang. I have turn signals and tail lights but I blow fuses on the brake lights.

Does the fuse blow before or after you step on the brake? If it blows only after you step on the brake, and voltage from stop lamp switch only goes to rear brakes and not through multifunction switch. If only one connector at the rear for brake lamps, take connector loose, step on the brake, if the fuse still blows, the problem is before the connector. You could Use new wire from brake switch feed, when brake switch is activated, to the rear brakes. Leave pigtail at both ends, splice in new wire, You could let new wire just lay on the ground, for testing, from brake switch to rear brakes. If the brakes work and doesn't blow the fuse, Make the new wire permanent and route the wire properly. Just my opinion. I don't have wiring diagram for your model year.

I have no break lights or turn signals

Turn signal tail lights and BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING

It can be faulty brake light switch causing the problem or its blown brake light bulb. First check and confirm brake light lamp is working and that's not the case.

For turn signal not working it can be faulty turn signal switch or its issue with wiring:----

Hello i have a 1995 ford mustang gt and i need a diagram for the electricle cluster that sits in the dash board that controlls the hd lights, tail lights, break lights etc thank you

im not sure what your talking about, it sounds like you want the wiring for the cluster, but this doesnt control brake, tail or headlights, the brake lights operate through the brake light switch and go through the signal light switch to power those up. the headlights and tail lights work through the head light switch, what system do you need, or what doesnt work.

The tail light assy is a 3 bulb on a 1996 mustang coupe. Only one light bulb is illuminating in each assy. There appear to be at 2 additional bulbs per assy that are not illuminating. In addition the...

This is the only diagram I could find for tail-lamps. The top wires are voltage, the bottom wire is ground. The brown color wire is voltage for tail lamps. The other color wire is turn or stop, depending. The turn and lower brake lites use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. The lower brake lites are wired through turn signal switch. I don't know if diagram matches what you have? I looked at several, all showed the same thing.
