In case anyone else has this same problem, I will answer our own question. The only way we found the solution is by just jumping in. Our problem turns out to be the fuel pump. In order to get to it we had to drop the tank, by the way, it ain't no fun doing this. Fuel pump is inside the tank. We checked on having a shop do the work for us. But quickly changed our mind when we heard them say it will cost us about $600.00. The fuel pump cost us about $200.00 and we are doing the work our selves. Hope this will help someone out.
P.S. don't bother with looking for a fuel cutoff switch in this type of vehicle. They do not have it, they do have a fuel relay however.
Thank you t_ray70526, we have got it taken care of. Appreciate the help. Bonnie

did the vehicle hit a bump as pulling into store? there is a fuel cut-off switch located in the trunk behind a side panel. it is a safety feature to shut fuel off in case of an accident. if so remove side panel and push reset button. good luck
i started my car when it was snowing out, i went to light my cigarette and my car just died. I had a friend of mine jump my car but it still didn't start. I don't know what it is.
