1994 Honda Passport (Isuzu Rodeo) heater not blowing hot air

Is the heater core hot? It could be clogged.. remove the two hoses to it and run water through it in both directions to flush it out. There's also a valve that needs to open to allow water flow through the heater core.

Heater on nissan almera

That noise is the heater and AC air temperature control electric blend door motor trying to move a duct door that is sticking due to heat warping. You will need to remove the entire dash assembly and replace the blend door. This door is located between the AC core and the heater core and "blends" the air from each (hot from heater core and cold from AC core) to give the desired air temperature,.

My 1996 heater isn't blowing out hot. How do I fix it?

Check the heater control valve. Usually located on a heater hose between the firewall and where the hose attaches to the engine. Warm the engine, turn the heater on full hot, feel the hose with the valve in it. If the hose is hot on both sides then the valve is probably OK. If hot only on the engine side of the valve then the valve is not opening when the control calls for heat. Probably a stuck valve or leaky vacuum control hose. Otherwise I would suspect either a clogged heater core or a stuck open engine thermostat .

Heater is blowing cold

Thermostat stuck open, heater core clogged, or heater control coolant flow valve stuck closed. With the engine at full operating temperature check the hoses at the firewall going to the heater. If one is hot and the other is cold or just barely warm, the heater core is clogged or the coolant flow valve is stuck closed. If neither is hot, you have a thermostat stuck open and need to replace it.

Nissan Almera Tino Diesel 2.1 - Temperature control not working

Hi there, very common on these vehicles, you need to remove the heater cotrols and check that the cable hasn't come out, usually the clips that hold the cables in place break causing the heaters to not work properly, Nissan do modified clips now to stop it from happening, it may need a cable too if its too far bent, hope this helps.

2003 sable heater not working

Warm up vehicle. Then, from the engine compartment, grip each heater hose to check if they are HOT. Not warm HOT. If they are both hot, then the BLEND DOOR is stuck to the cold position. Access this thru glove box area.

If they are not HOT, then check radiator hoses for proper heat. If radiator hoses are not HOT then thermostat is stuck OPEN.

If they are HOT then there may be a restriction in circulation to the heater hoses and heater core.
