1999 ford courier has a warning light on the dash that looks like the top of a wine glass that looks like fluid is dropping in fluid nd its dropping throught the bottom

you obviously have a short circuit
first disconnect plugs to blinkers try fuse to save on fuses get 12v globe attach two wires and connect were fuse goes if fault still there globe will light
chances of dash small if light shows fault there drop dash and remove globes
i would bet on blinker wiring has chafed and shorted to ground

the ford courier is the Brazilian tag name for the ford ranger pick up truck the headlight is a 9007 dual beam bulb you can by this at the auto parts store for $10 - $12 dollars here's a picture of it

open the hood and look for this retainer at the back of the headlight and twist it while pressing in, it will turn and the tabs will unlock and that's how the light comes out BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN INSTALLING THIS BULB YOU CAN NOT TOUCH THE GLASS WITH YOUR HANDS THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WILL FRY ON THE GLASS AND BLOW THE NEW BULB USE A PAPER TOWEL OR RUBBER GLOVES IF YOU DO TOUCH THIS WIPE OFF THE GLASS WITH ALCOHOL AND LET IT DRY THE PUT IT INSIDE THE ASSEMBLY ALIGNING THE NOTCHES YOU SEE IN THE BULB AND THE ASSEMBLY THEN PUSH IN THE TWIST LOCK ALIGNING THOSE TABS YOU SEE TO LOCK IT IN PLACE AND YOUR DONE GOOD LUCK AND BUY THE 2 PACK OF BULBS FOR $20.00 YOU MIGHT NEEDIT FOR THE OTHER SIDE THEY USUALLY BLOW OUT ONE AFTER ANOTHER STEPHEN

The break light coming on is PROBABLY low brake fluid. When you take off, the fluid moves and the little switch is making. I wish I could help you with the meters on the dash but I am stupid when it comes to that stuff.

Checking the brake fluid is easy, and most gas stations have a can of fluid for a few bucks. If you are thrifty then walmart or kmart generally has it cheaper.

Iluminates when the ignition is in the ON position and one of t eexterior bulbs has burned out.

hi from uk if you are saying the parkbrake warning light on dash comes on whilst driving ?? this light/warning is also linked to the brake fluid reservoir level and if level is low ? it will cause parkbrake light to come on the low fluid level may be simply the displacement of fluid as the brakepads/shoes wear thin over time so req's topping up however !if fluid is very low? may i suggest you make sure you do not have a leak somewhere ie cylinders? considering age of vehicle might be worth checkingbrke pads if not recently replaced ? and renew them if req'd? hope this helps ?

hi think its brake fluid warning light if it flashes if doesnt flas then it just parking brake indicator my i reckon it first one so check brake levels if necessary top up above minimum if not theres a fault either the light it self or braking system hope this helps

This means your master cylender is low on brake fluid , top it off with brake fluid and that should solve your problem . You should find out where the brak fluid is going .
