SOURCE: 1991 GMC Sierra loses fuel pressure after it reaches the TBI

THE INJECTORS ARE PULSED TO GROUND DIRECTLY BY THE ECM...... MAIN COMPUTER... IT COULD BE FLAKY BUT I HAVE FOUND MANY TIMES THAT THE HALL EFFECT SENSOR LOCATED IN THE TOP OF THE DISTRIBITOR GETS INTERMITTANT.... THIS CAUSES LOSS OF SIGNAL TO ECM INTURN LOSS OF SIGNAL OUT OF ECM TO INJECTORS... LET ME KNOW

1999 gmc sierra ignition module

If coil near plug, the computer controls spark.
How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Are you missing anything besides spark? Engine cranking, you used a gage and you have good fuel pressure? Also, you have fuel injector pulse?
What is litre size of engine?

Won't start add starter fluid it turns on n runs good what's the problem n what controls the injector pulse

Injector pulse is controlled on the ground side by the computer. The power side is supplied through a fuse. IS the fuel pump working? How about a restricted fuel filter? You need to determine if there is any fuel pressure before attempting to diagnose an injector issue

My 98 gmc 1500 V8 5.0l won't start. Has good spark

Spray starting fluid into the air intake of the engine, if it starts and you have fuel pressure you have no injection or injector pulse as we call it. Check ECM fuse one and two for continuity if it starts with fluid..

I have A 1991 GMC SIERRA, 350,no fuel no spark, have fuel to the tbi, changed coil, ignition module, tested pick up coil good, check engine light comes on with key, fuses good. I'm running out of ideas....

Do you have power to the injectors? One of the wires to the injector will come on for a couple seconds as soon as you turn the key to the on position. The computer controls the ground side. If you do not get power to one of them start looking for an open circuit. The same power source will also go to your ignition coil and ignition module. If you do not have power on the pink wire to the coil apply a temporary fused battery power source to it and give it a try, this will also power up the injectors.
Check it out and let me know.

On a 89 camaro iroc with tune port injection we are getting fuel and sparks to plugs but the injectors are not pulsing to let fuel spray into cylinders have changed computer?

no not yet i wouldn't change the computr. check to see if there is voltage pos. at one or more of the injector lugs! if not then there is a fuse for them tht may be bad. first check fuse near battery it is in and black plastic cover boted to thefender if it istill mounted and someone didn't nbolt it. then ifthat 25 amp fuse is good checktheones under the dashand also a signif tht fuse nearthe fender is good or not is if the fuel pump is kicking onand the check engine ight work when the key is inthe on position. let me know if you have juice there atthe injectors and if so then iwould check the wire from thecomputer toinjectors if good then iwould say the computerisbad. but let me know and wecanwotk through it.i hve three of these cars i love them. good luck

Throttle body injectors not fiering but there is fuel pressure

the injectors are fired thru the engine cotrol module but it gets its signal to fire from the pick-up located inside the distributor if you are loosing injector pulse only the ignition module is bad if you are also loosing spark when you loose injector pulse your pick up is causing the problem if you replace the pick-up i recomend you change the ignition module when doing so because they work together and you have to remove the distributor to change the pick-up
