SOURCE: blower vent selector switch not working

this is what is called a factory default. for safety purposes if there is a problem with the wiring in the climate control system it defaule to the defrost position so you can see out the window. this can be a pretty tough job, the whole dash may have to come off. unless you well versed in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting, and have the right equipment, I would take it to a local automotive technician.

SOURCE: Blower only pushes air through defroster. 96 Jeep GC

There is a vacuum leak under the hood. On the 4.0 liter it is usually at the intake manifold near the brake booster. The 90 degree vacuum fitting pops off of the nipple of the intake. On the 5.2 liter the vacuum leak is usually near the battery where acid corrodes through the line as it passes near the battery box to the reservoir under the box.

check for battery voltage and good ground at fan electrical connector. If both are ok then fan motor is bad.

2000 venture blower motor won't shut off with the ignition

Could be something in the key switch I suppose. There is a high speed relay for the blower that gets power directly from the battery, but the other speeds should go thru the fan switch and get power from the key switch.

Sentra AC

There's a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay and compressor. There are 15amp fuses that power the blower motor and the ac control switch. All of those fuses get power from the key switch. The resistor and fan switch provide the ground circuit for the blower motor.
I would want to know if those fuses are getting power, and if the control panel is working. You should be able to ground the blower motor and make it run on high, and that should not have any effect on if the ac compressor is running or not.
It could be a key switch problem in that the circuit is not strong enough to handle the load from the blower and the compressor at the same time.

2000 pontiac grand prix the ac blower stopped working we replaced it and still doesn't work it just comes on one in awhile. after replacing blower motor, then power door locks stop working replace

All these problems do sound as electrical of course but ecerything that you have mentioned is all on separate circuits which is odd. More than likely the blower motor situation is the resister. The window problem could be a number of things but I can tell you that all the wiring goes through the main drivers swtich so it could be just that switch but of course you would need to test before you just go out and but one but it is a common problem. The lights could be several things as we;; but would check the ambient light sensor which is located up in the center dash near the light that flashes for you security. You car didn't happen to get wet on the inside ? In any case I hope this helps.

REPLACED BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE...Now blower is working but not very much air flowing out of vents! Fan speed is working...it heat and cools. but still not adequate air flow from the vents ..2000...

check your blower hoses to see if one or more have come loose or got redirected or the selector switch isn't functioning properly (is it blowing better on defrost as opposed to floor vents, or forward vents, etc.)
Good luck

Replacing heater blower motor

this is not a problem with thw switch or motor. There is a resistor that is mounted inside the dash on the pasenger side that controls the speed of the blwer..these have a tendency to burn up after 10 years or so... replace the resistor, and you will be fine!  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Truck-A-C-Heater-Fan-Resistor_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33548QQihZ016QQitemZ260344846266QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW#ht_500wt_1230
