Ran out of gas and wont start - 2000 Dodge Stratus

Put gas in it?

you haven't mentioned what make or model of vehicle
you will have to check that the pump is actually working as some fuel pumps have small plastic gears as the pump and when run out of fuel these gears have no lubrication and so melt in the case
( toyota 4 runner from experience)

Try removing fuel filter, empty it and clean, try again, sometimes loose particals from bottom of tank may be picked up when ran dry

hit the key five times without trying to start, just bump the starter, after the fith time turn it over and it should crank

buy manual, check for fuel at motor

it might be that the gas pump isn't connecting to the engine.

if you let car run out of gas.it over heat fuel pump some times it damages it.it wont start again.

BLEED INJECTOR SYSTEM NOT GETTING FUEL TO ENGINE TOP.

It is very bad to let your car run out of gas. You may need to give it exessive amount of gas when starting it.
