Cruise will not come on or display a light on the dash that says its on. Is there a fuse for the cruise? A relay? Any know problems with the cruise on this model, and also the air bag light stays on. Thanks
Sounds like the clockspring is faulty under the steering wheel..
a clockspring is a wire coil under steering wheel that links switches on wheel to steering column..it is in a plastic housing mounted to steering column..your speed control switches and air bag connectors go thru this to send signals to vehicle controllers for these items to work..you have to remove airbag from steering wheel, remove steering wheel and covers around steering column..really should only be replaced by a trained technician..it is dealer part..do not recommend a junkyard part

Same problem here - turned out to be the Vacuum line from the left rear of the engine on the firewall up to the right side of the throttle body ? air intake.
Plugged it back on the hose connector - problem solved.. Works perfect again..
I had the same problem and replaced my brake switch, my cruise control switches, check my vacuum line from the brake booster which was still good and holding vacuum, and replaced my clock spring. Nothing worked until I realized the dang cable had popped off the left side of my throttle body. 30 seconds and it was fixed. It just pops back on and it worked! Hope this helps
