Only a guess on my part

I would say the dealer told you they have to use
a scan tool to retrieve the radio code, since you
do not have it & it will cost you to do that

Have no idea why a local shop could not do the same thing,
& what number they gave you

When one has to remove vehicle parts,plastic & radios,etc, to get
serial numbers, there is something wrong with that picture, to
my way of thinking.

The whole idea of a radio code, is so it can not be used in another
vehicle if stolen,so why would you need a number off it

check that it is not in the lock itself

I think the fuse has blown for my electric windows on my Streetka 05. Where do I locate the fusebox?

When wiring the main 12v feed for the heated seats with integral switch buttons into the plug there are two wires (03 Street Ka): purple and black.

Which is which wire? I have assumed purple to ignition live and black to ground when wiring into a standard 1.3 Ka.

Is the button on position with the button out and red showing or pushed in?

Hi Sophie Probably just the hood store lid.
Unlock the hood. Pull up the rear screen and open the hood store lid. Slam the hood store lid shut making that the locks on BOTH sides are holding it down and then replace the hood. The alarm will not set correctly unless both the locks are in position. Adrian
