I hit some stuff on the highway the other day and instantly had problems after, the first stop sign I stopped at the car was idling bad I could hear and feel it shuttering
It could be most anything as a violent hit to the frame will jar things loose, the older the vehicle the easier this will happen. Look under the hood for loose vacuum lines. Look under the vehicle for loose or unconnected connectors, wires, and vacuum lines. Good luck!

Clean the IAC. Disconnect throttle body air hose and you will see a hole on the bottom of the throttle body just before the butterfly valve. Spray throttle body cleaner down the IAC hole and then let it soak about 1/2 hour. Reconnect hose and run engine about a minute and then repeat this process 2 or more times. Toyota engines from 1997-2005 commonly have the IAC get cruded up with carbon as early as 35,000 miles. This is a sImple and cheap repair that many repair shops don't want you to know.

if the idling of your engine only dies off at first gear, you may have a clutch problem. check first if you have fluid in your clutch fluid reservoir, or if its cable make sure that the cable is pulling the clutch lever for a reasonably long travel. there may be leaks in your clutch master or slave cylinders. If your engine behaves well during neutral. it has to be a clutch problem

YOUR problem is the carby acc pump and idle jet ...... what you need to do is remove airfilter and take the top off the carby and you should see a small ball and spring under gasket ...when you open the throttle it will pump petrol to the small pick up jet and the other jet will take over ...clean out carby jets and rebuild and that should be ok

Did they "turn" your rotors? They may have "improperly" turned your front rotors. This is common and they should correct this where you had the work done.
