Location of PGMFI relay 2008 honda accord

USA car? NO engines size told? gen 8 Accord but uses near 8 engines world wide, all very differnent.
USA engine two offered 2.4L i4 and 3.5L V6. the latter is belt drive cams.
NO engine told makes answers super hard, and country. (the VIN code tells what country it was sold to)
called a market .
..
find a new shop (ASE rated)
no communication.,,? or????what does this mean, scan tool dead.

ok all fuses are all tested good.

so use a scan tool and scan the CAR at the OBD2 DLC 16pin port near drivers knees
Using a scan tool buy, rent or get it done.

no spark can be lots things.\
lost spark on 1 spark plug or all best test all of them if all are dead that has deeper cause.
even bad Honda (no engine told cam belt.
bad CKP,
bad CMP
bad coil packs
scan it , as you crank for 5 full seconds, and release the key and see the DTC errors pop.

no country told at all so can't know what scantools will work.or lists of engines used.
no engine, no country not VIN told
hard case, nothing harder blind.

2000 Grand AM GT has issues but wont throw codes

It sounds like you need a scan tool that will access all of the modules in your car. The traction and ABS codes will be stored in the ABS control module. As far as the miss, it should be in the ECU and accessible from any general scan tool.

Will a scan tool communicate with all the vehicle control modules , any DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored ? Not a code reader , a professional scan tool . That's the place to start , not guessing an just replacing parts . Who diagnosed bad PCM ?

2002 rodeo is my obd ground bad my ecu wont communicate and horn wont blow but fuse is good

great question, im ane ECU spirt. )EFI.
what country, nobody ever says, that but gee, the OBD varies buy
COUNTRY!
Ill pretend USA. /Canada.

In the USA the car has OBD2. and you need a scan tool that works
on 2002 cars.
what engine, some engines have different ECU. radical differ..
they had like 3 engines here, other countries 9.

the scan tools connects to the 16pin, OBD2 connector at dash.
i the car is Can-bus. it needs a can-bus tool, all new tools work on canbus but old ones never do. (i have them back to 1995 and know this)
NON comms and tool is ok, not wrong tool . diagnosis.

  1. Pin 16 not at 12vdc, (blown fuse)
  2. ECU dead, 99% of time blown fuse to EFI. test the fuses to all EFI parts. alldata.com wiring shows that.
  3. bad wiring to the DCL connector (rare) or from there to ECU
  4. yes, some crappy tools have no ground on both pin 4 and 5, buy a tool that has 2 pins there. OR it will fail on some cars. seen many POS ELM327 tools that do this horror, get a tool called, INNOVA 3160 and stop guessing, this tool works on all cars.
  5. barrow, rent , or buy or ask any sharp mech top scan car , his tool works.
  6. Fuses that look ok can IN FACT be bad, we never assume they ar good we test them. using either method, OHMS or 12vdc on both sides, is better. see? only the voltage matters, all else punts.
  7. The 3.3l communicates on pin 1 and 2..
pin 2 is PCM/ECU. VPW signalling.
and is not can-bus, yet.
simular to this.

Vehicle not starting

are you getting lights and ignition display. when you turn ignition do you hear a clicking sound ? there is a ignition control relay/ computer this will stop engine from running and will stop the ecu from being read. it is fitted under the dash usually behind the steering console. check this first before changing the ecu.

Car wont start if driven a distance and turned off, have to open hood to cool it acura 98 tl 2.5

hot soak failures, (im good at those, my specialty (electronics)
1: lost spark that first thing to do failed is check for spark.
if spark bad,? 1998 ( ill post for NOT FLOODING and tuned up,)
do this and the ECU will tell you why !!!
1: connect any scan tool to the 16pin DLC port. next to knees
2: crank for 5seconds.
3: release key, do not turn of key
see those DTC errors. that IS the cause.
p0340 ,355? or any codes, they will tell you if
CMP fails, CKP failed, or just spark.

the ecu makes spark, so if CMP/CMP fails, it sees that fast.
if CMP/CKP are bad, it will throw bad spark codes. for bad coil.

Hello Friends, I need help and advice. I have a Mazda Tribute 2.3 (2005 Mechanical) is the same as the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner. Step to indicate symptoms: The vehicle began to take a few...

Communication errors with the vehicle's ECU does NOT mean that you need to replace the ECU OR the car! This code means that there is a problem with your Control Area Network (CAN).
Your vehicle has many computer modules onboard. The CAN is what networks all of these modules together so they can share information with each other and with your scan tool. (I like to call this the phone line) ...Your phone line is down! :) When your phone line is down, you do not throw away the phone (ECU) or the house that the phone is in (the car). You repair the phone line.

The way you have described the problem, It sounds like your battery is very low. I would begin to diagnose this problem by testing the battery and the rest of the charging system (wires, cables, alternator, etc.).

Many communication errors can be fixed by repairing the battery or charging system.

If repairing the battery and/or charging system does not help, you will need a true scan tool (NOT a generic code reader) to diagnose your CAN circuits.
