Where is the location of the Windows fuse and relay ,in wolkswagen passat arriva - 1992
A couple locations are possible..See our owners manual for locations. Some have the fuses in the engine compartment. Some on either side of the dash,a small scuttle panel on the side of the dash, and some are under the dash, left of the brake pedal, some are under rear seats...Good luck,,If the passenger side window still works think window assist motor..Not hard, and moderately expensive..@ $150

I have has the same problem on a newer vw.. check the drivers door and check the rubber fanfold boot that connects from the door to the door jamb see it is torn.. 2 wires broken inside of this boot will cause all the windows and locks to not work... make sure as you said you have checked ALL of the fuses

First of all I believe in the 3 series this procedure works. put the key in the door with the doors closed- turn key and hold it there while you watch the windows roll up automatically. If this does not work you probably have a fuse problem. If it does work then your window switch might just be bad. As to which fuse it is, just look for a blown fuse in the glove box. Apparently these fuse boxes on the 3 series are hard to read? on my sisters 325i it is under the hood and the cover has the information on the back

fuses are usually in the glove box or under the drivers dash or under the drivers side hood either physically inspect every fuse by pulling them one by one or the aid of a test light and a good ground to the test light

Hi,
The door panel comes off with a T-10 torx or a Hex (Allen) wrench that will fit and a large Philips Screw Driver..
Remove the Plastic cover on the inside Door handle and the screw or screw along the bottom of the door panel.
Then remove the screws that hold the handle the the door. They are located behind the plastic plate you removed with a tiny screw driver earlier. Be careful not the mark up the cover whaytprying it up. It is best to pry from underneath. After this 4 screws are out . The Use of a clip tool is best for getting behind the panel to pop it off, screw driver will work.
After all the clips are released. Pull the light at the bottom of the panel down and out. Disconnect it or push it back thought the hole it came from. Now you need a 10mm socket, or wrench to remove the 12 bolts that hold the metal plate to the door. Remove all the 10mm bolts, if the window has not already fallen in the door it should be released by removing the black 2" plugs. Then loosen the bolts that clamp the window with the arms. Do not loosen them all the way.Disconect all the wiring. The Door lock cable, can be a pain. I think it pulls down.Next remove the metal plate, that is the regulator. Reverse these steps again to install it.
thank you !!
SOURCE: Hello I need help locating the fuse/relay for my
The 2007 Pontiac G6 engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the battery. The wiring circuits in Pontiac G6 are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses, circuit breakers and fusible links. This greatly reduces the chance of damage caused by electrical problems. Below diagram and table shows 2007 Pontiac G6 Engine Compartment Fuse Panel, Relay and the Circuit Protected.
The fuse is in location 50
