Cranks, stops after 2to3 turns, won,t start, alarm sounds horn
Sounds like the anti theft chip is causing the problem,I belive the battery in your key or the remote sensor is the problem.my bosses battery was located in the key its self, had the same problem until the battery was replaced.
uses the same battery that a watch uses, the dealer or a jewelery repair shop is your best bet,Good luck,Gary
SOURCE: Van will not start. It Cranks and the fuel pump

If you follow the positive cable (right at the post in most cases) there is a 50 amp fuse. You may have blown that fuse whicgh is common when changing the battery unless you remove it. Connecting the positive cable first when installing the battery helps prevent this. Also there are several other fuses that you may have blown which connect to the theft system going to the body control module which will prevent the vehicle from stating. If the fuse on the posive cable isn't blown (which I bet it is) in the fuse panel in the vehicle check fuse number 3, 4 , & 19 . See layout diagram below. Also in the fuse panel in the engine comapartment you can check fuse number J and 25 . See layout diagram below. I hope this helps and good luck.

check fuel pump, fuel pump fuse, distributor, and ignition coil please. then you will need to check crank position sensor.(to do this you need to find factory service manual)
Check the fuel line pressure it may be low should be 55lbs
SOURCE: 2001 jaguar s-type won't crank battery new and charged. Turn the ignition car won't make a sound
many things will cause no start problems could have faulty ignition switch.use test light see if power going to starter if not check ignition fuse to starter.if power going to starter, more likely starter solenoid or starter faulty.if ignition fuse okay and starter and solenoid okay still no start problem could be in the ignition switch or inhibitor switch faulty.code scan for faulty theft security system which will also cause no start conditions.
