2003 acura cl 3.2 base model had swap used transmission and d5 start blinking since i start the vehicle d5 start flashing even the car do not make any changes on the shifting gears and have no codes showing on dash ..my question is is this a big issue or should do something about it ? hope your response as as possible thanks my e-mail is [email protected]

TRY WHAT THAT OTHER PERSON SAID. IF THAT DOESNT WORK POP UR HOOD OPEN AND SLAM IT DOWN. ONE OF UR SENSORS ARE DIRTY OR LOOSE SAME THING HAPPENS TO MINE.

Try disconnecting the battery cable again, but leave it off for at least 10 minutes. That will reset the computer, not sure if it will help w/ theft system though. Good Luck, Also try locking and unlocking the driver door w/ the key (not a remote) this may work.

We had the same problem. As advised from another website, we unhooked the battery and hooked the cables together for about 10 minutes. This reset the radio and allowed us to put in the 5-digit code. Now we're jammin'!

Try the code again. Turn car key on. Turn radio on. Enter the 6 digit code, using the numbers on the preset channel button. It might take more than one time, if you entered the code wrong the first time. I entered it wrong the first time, took a few tries to unlock with correct code. Did it again today with the right code, and it worked the first time I entered it.

I doubt they did anymore damage but i`ll bet that the engine was damaged from the training going out such as valve guides and seals and carbon build up on plugs ETC.
