Do you get a "check engine" light? If so, have the code read. Sometimes you won't get the error the first time. I had a similar problem with a different car, was the cam position sensor. After the 4th or 5th time, I did get a code and that told me exactly what to replace.

It could be the wiring from the body to the seat which is subject to movement and vibration. Before fiddling with the SRS take the recommended safety precautions which usually resemble disconnecting the battery and waiting 30 minutes and never using a self-powered test meter to check wiring. I would check the main fuse relay aka fuel relay... Located under the dash, on the steering colum... They go bad with the heat.. I have an 01 cl and would act stupid on hot days and that relay fixed my issue...

The vehicle has a factory anti-theft system that has been activated. You need the key fob to shut it off. I have had some success with connecting the positive cable, leaving the door open and turn the key in the "on" position and then attach the negative cable to defeat this but it only works on some cars, worth a try if you don't have the factory fob.

This indicates a transmission problem. A scanner might get codes.

sounds like a c/v joint. put it on a lift and turn wheels with engine running in gear

Remove it and check the tracks for debris. If you don't hear the mechanism, it can be a faulty switch.

check fuses. its busted. up grade it or take it out and get it serviced.

The ejection action is done by a small rubber band and when this happens it is normally the band has broken. It will require the cd unit to be removed and the cover taken off to see if this is the case.

you have a short, probably in the switch that controls the adjustment...you should check the whole circuit,including wires to the mechanism.
