I understand your frustration, and I'll do my best to guide you through locating the heater blower relay on your 2003 Infiniti M45. Unfortunately, I can't provide specific details about the exact location since I don't have the vehicle's manual or specific schematics. However, I can offer some general guidance:
Check the Owner's Manual: Start by thoroughly reviewing your vehicle's owner's manual. It should have information on the location of the heater blower relay and details on the fuse boxes.
Underhood Fuse and Relay Box: The heater blower relay is often located in the underhood fuse and relay box. Open the hood and locate the fuse box. Check the lid of the fuse box or the owner's manual for a diagram that indicates the position of the heater blower relay.
Driver's Side Footwell: As you mentioned, there is a fuse box on the driver's side near the brake pedal. This could contain relays related to the HVAC system. Inspect the area for any additional relays or fuses, and check if there's a label or diagram indicating the location of the heater blower relay.
Passenger Side Fuse Box: Although you mentioned there isn't a fuse box on the passenger side, some vehicles may have a secondary fuse box inside the vehicle. Check under the dashboard on the passenger side, particularly near the glove compartment. It might be concealed or tucked away.
Rear of the Driver's Side Fuse Box: If there's a mention of a relay on the rear of the driver's side fuse box, you might need to access it from beneath the dashboard or by removing some panels. It can be challenging, but it's not uncommon for components to be located in less accessible areas.
Professional Assistance: If you're unable to locate the relay or face difficulty accessing it, consider seeking professional help. An automotive technician or a dealership service center might be able to assist you in identifying and accessing the heater blower relay.
If you're still having trouble, it might be worthwhile to contact Infiniti customer support or consult with a local Infiniti dealership for specific guidance based on your vehicle's model and features. They may be able to provide more precise information or assist you in person.
Gauge fuse 10A in left kick panel power the control coil of the blower relay
Alt 80A fuse in the underhood fuse box powers the contacts of the "heater" relay
Once the heater relay contacts close, power flows to the "heater fuse" 40A in the underhood fuse box.
From that fuse, power goes directly to the the blower motor.
There are 2 fuses for the blower. They are in the fuse box on the right side of the dash, bottom row of fuses, second from the left is a 20 amp fuse and that is low blower, the second is also bottom row of fuses, fourth from the right, and it's a 25 amp fuse and that's high blower. Hope that helps.
Hello! Coil of Heater Relay is supplied through Fuse "IG1 2" (10A)...Located in the Drivers Side Box...Contacts of Relay are supplied through "Heater Fuse (50A)...Located in Engine Relay Box...Blower Motor has a 2 wire connector with wire colors: Black/Yellow (Pin 2)...And White/Blue (Pin 1)...Pin 1=Ground and Pin 2=Battery when Relay pulls and contacts close... The Blower Resistor Pack (Which fails often) controls the fan speed...BUT, there is a fuse inside the assembly...If it blows = No Fan...Located on the top of the heater/AC box and can be accessed through the Glove Compartment...Guru...Saailer
this is common the fuse is located in the fuse box but the common problem with these is the blower resisitor, this is located next to the blower and is screwed into heater box, a quick test is to check for power and ground to blower first and check fuses located under the dash on the driverside. also check under the hood in the engine compartment for another fuse/relay box hope this helps.
