1994 Pathfinder,A/C belt broke;replaced it, but it will not start

how bout the fuel filter and pump sounds like a fuel delivery problem

What belt broke? If its the water pump belt it will overheat, if its the alternator belt it will loose battery power and stall. If its the a/c belt no worries. If its the P/S belt well you would know right away if it was the P/S belt.

If it hasnt broke yet then no damage is done. If you wait for it to break you could destroy the engine. As far as your complaint, if nothing has been actually tested then there is no way to know what your problem is.

This vehicle has an interference engine (v6-VG30E), If the timing belt ran or snapped while running, its very possible the engine is severely damaged. Hopefully this helps!!

a Bad solenoid or a locked up flywheel

then check the timing bel again, if you have spark and fuel it should start, also check the distrubutor cap and rotor.

it could be the timing belt.
If it is the timing belt, it may sound a little different when cranking it. It may turn over faster, sounding free, or it may sound two toned when cranking (normal, then fast, normal then fast with every revalution)

Ck your cap .

Turn eng. off sprary with water , wait 3 min. start it up.

Look to see if spark is jumping across to top.

If so change cap , If not ck, for oil inside cap.
