The clutch came new with about 10 years of service life if it was used gently. You are at 16 years. Most likely time for a new clutch. Adding fluid to the clutch's hydraulic actuator system is not going to add new life to the clutch.

What belt broke? If its the water pump belt it will overheat, if its the alternator belt it will loose battery power and stall. If its the a/c belt no worries.
