Bought this beautiful "Perfect" not kidding, 1995 Audi A6 for $600, only issue was it needed a starter and that was simply enough, but after driving it for a week, I determined it needed tranny fluid as it was slipping, only to discover there was not a dip stick !!!... so I put it up in the air (entire car) per instructions to check the fluid via the plug, then I discovered how expensive the fluid was !!! I asked my Audi mechanic friend if I could use any other fluid to save some $$$. I was going to put the "Correct" Audi transmission fluid in it if I had to by why if i could used something else right? SO, he said, Drain everything in the tranny, and save some $$$.... fill your tranny with Mobile 1 FULL Synthetic. I did. That was 30,000 miles ago and the tranny shifts flaulessly, with NO leaks. Should be written in your manual, just call the dealer and they would tell you what you need.
