2008 jeep wrangler 2.5 in old man emu lift 35 in tires. when turning or at any speed almost the steering feels un responsive and. Cant find any visible bends or brakes. When the censor turns on the problem seems to almost stop.

I have the exact same setup, and I have no problems with the steering being unresponsive.

What sensor are you referring to? The traction control?

If your steering wheel is off center, this can cause the problem. Luckily this is very easy to fix -- you can do so even if you have little to no experience working on your vehicle.
1. Park the vehicle with the wheels facing straight ahead (drift forward until you are moving in a straight line). Don't worry about the steering wheel position. 2. Locate the steering drag link -- the diagonal rod coming from the bottom of the steering arm to the top of the passenger side steering knuckle (on the axle near the tire) 3. Loosen the two bolts on the rotating adjustment collar on this link. I believe these are 13mm. 4. Rotate the collar one way about two or three turns, check the steering wheel to ensure that the "Jeep" logo is perfectly horizontal. If it's not, continue rotating the collar (or move it in the opposite direction) until the wheel is centered. 5. Tighten down the nuts on the drag link adjuster. 6. Take her for a test drive and let me know how it worked!

2008 jeep grand cherokee abs problem

Usually means the wheel sensor is bad or a wiring problem to that sensor. The warning lights are on to tell you those systems are turned off.

My esp and bas light will not go off on my 2007 jeep wrangler how can i get it off and what does it mean and also is thera a code that i need to get it off

The ESP/BAS system is a separate system from the engine computer/check engine light system, if your steering wheel is off center just a 1/2 degree, the light will set. Most scanners will not detect a code. It takes the Jeep protocol to reset it.
I hope this helps.

Shocks

It depends if your jeep is lifted or stock, and what kind of performance you want. Check www.quadratec.com . They have a great suspension and lift kit advisor that will help. In general, Old Man Emu, Teraflex, Rancho.

I have an 07 wrangler that when i turn the abs sensor brakes the vehicle. dealer has replaced the speed sensors and adj. the tire size in the computer, but it is still having issues. ??I dont know??

is the Jk modified? sounds like it may be if the dealer had to reflash the tire size. there is also a clock spring in the steering wheel that if its not properly centered it will set of the ABS system. I have an 08 Wrangler myself, had this issue after my lift. after my bent tie rod. LOL look at your steering wheel and when you drive is the Jeep flat? you can answer me back here with a comment. we will get this worked out.

Drag link adjustmnet

Your desctiption sounds like your settings are incorrect. I reccomend that an alignment shop adjust for you.

A common mistake on this type of project is steering box centerning. to test, from straight ahead, stop.., turn wheel from dead center to the stop, and measure exactly how many turns. From dead center, it must be the same both ways.

Steering boxes have an exact center setting, and get looser (so to speak) as turned right or left off of that spot. SOOO, if set to one side or the other, steering gets tighter when turning in one direction as compared to the other.

Get an alignment shop to set this up, it is common problem.
