Flashing battery light on 1992 Chevy Astro

Have the module in the dist. Checked. When they go bad it will not start.

the flashing security light is an indication that the immobiliser is not recognizing the key program. This sometimes happens when the battery is removed as it corrupts the CPU program. Try using a fault scanner to reset the program

Its either got a clogged fuel filter or the fuel pressure regulator is bad.

Do you notice crank when you turn over the key in ignition to start. Does it turn over but does not start, or no start nothing at all. ---------- If its not cranking and nothing happens when you turn the key, then its battery and starter related problem, both needs to be inspected.Either battery is not completely charged or its weak battery,that is not holding charge or its faulty battery or its connections are loose.-------- BUT if it is cranking and not starting, this clears that battery has juice in it and battery is doing its job and other possibilities needs to be checked. -------- The other possibilities are ,is the fuel pump coming on when you turn the key to start,is the spark is noticed at spark plug, is the check engine light coming ON. You are going to want to check your engine pullys. I replaced battery and starter before I figured out my AC was froze up. If that belt dont turn it will not start. Or even crank over.

This is gonna sound stupid but when you turn the key to the on position engine not running does the battery light come on? If not check the bulb in the dash as it acts as a fuseable link in the system.

Sounds like a bad urnsignal switch, but make sure you check all fuses because there are many time seperate fuses for turn signal and flashers. hope this helps

It should be marked on the fuse block

crank shaft sen. is easy enough to change.its mounted near timing chain cover,cam sen.is somewhat harder,its in the distributor,id doubt that both are defect
