as far as i remember remove the mirror adjuster either bar type pull off of joystick type unscrew collar

then the triangle is clipped in by the window trim use a little force and pull but gently that should take it off u may need a flat screwdriver to pry it off

Remove the screws that hold the mirror and remove it from the door. Attach the new mirror. Reconnect the electrical connector and make sure you test the new mirror before putting the parts back into place. Reverse the entire procedure to reassemble the door trim panel.

A mate of mine had a similar problem and he said he got in touch with a place called wingmirrorman.co.uk, They sorted out the bits he needed as he didn't have to replace the whole thing.

How Do I replace the glass in a Feista 2009 wing mirror

I'm assuming it is broken, You have to pry the rest of it out with a screwdriver. It is held on with double sided tape. If you replace it with the tape it will have to be in a warm place, it doesn't stick to well when it is cold. If you use silicone you have to get a special silicone that does not bleed thru the mirror. silicone it on and tape it in place. leave the tape on for a day

Loose wing mirrow

Check this guide as reference for solve ypur problem; this is one DIY about replace Wing Mirror...
1.- Disconnect your negative battery cable, if your Ford Focus has power side mirrors. If it has manual side mirrors, disconnecting the battery is unnecessary.
2.- Pry off the wing mirror's inside sail panel (shaped like a triangle). Insert a trim panel tool between the door skin and the plastic panel to pry it off.
3.- Carefully pull the sail panel away, minding the wiring if the mirror is power-operated. Unplug the electrical harness and set the panel aside.
4.- Open the door and hold the outside part of the wing mirror steady. Remove the mounting bolt with a socket wrench, and then remove the mirror screw with a Phillips screwdriver (the mirror bolt and screw is visible with the panel removed).
5.- Pull the wing mirror assembly from its mount (from the outside). Insert the replacement mirror assembly in place; tighten the bolt and the screw.
6.- Attach the wiring connection to the replacement mirror. Position the sail panel in place and push it against the door to snap it back on.

Hope helps (remember comment and rated this). TY for using Fixya.

The wing mirror on my ford fiesta is broken in half

Check at a breakers yard you may be able to find a suitable replacement with mirror intact for less than a new on can be had. Or check a glass shop to see if they can cut a replacement to the size you require.
