It is a sealed transmission, there is no dipstick. See the dealer for a fluid check.

Put it down the dipstick tube that you check the trans fluid with using a funnel. Don't put much in at a time before you check the level - remember to check the level with engine running, trans warmed up after driving 15 minutes and the car in park with parking brake on. Put the fluid in and see what it does for your shifting.

Where do i put transmission fluid in a nissan navara 2.4

If it doesn't have a dipstick then it is a sealed transmission and you must see the dealer. &Unless it is leaking you need not check the fluid level, it doesn't evaporate.

Can't find where to add transmission fluid in a 2006 all wheel drive equinox

I am unfamiliar with exact car, however, It is not unusual for transmission oil to be put in via the the transmission dip stick tube - do not confuse it with the engine oil dip stick tube. Do it slowly and make sure you dont over fill or you will eventutally blow your transmission box seals or worse. Let the oil settle before checking levels too because it is easy to misread the dip stick when you have used the dip stick tube to fill oil in.

Transmission warning light coming on,possible problems are low oil pressure or no oil pressure how do i check which one it is and fix it? Thankyou

If you have an Automatic transmission. Lift the hood. Locate the Transmission dip stick. Start the engine and let the engine warm up some. then check the fliud level on the dip stick. On a Manual Transmission, locate the transmission under the vehicle and the fill plug (upper) and drain plug (lower) on the transmission. Remove the fill plug (upper) and see if fluid runs out. If no fluid runs out, add recommeded transission fluid until the fluid starts running out, the replace fill plug..

Mcchanged transmission fliud having trouble reading dip stick

The fluid has to be checked with the engine running and the trans needs to be cycled in and oul of gear a few times. The fluild may have to be wiped off the stick many times as the stick is picking up fluid off the side of the dipstick tube as you just put the fluid in that way. Or you could just take a break and come back later to check it after it's had time to go down the tube and it'll check like normal.

Transmission fluid for a 95 jeep grand cherokee

Generally it will be in your owners manual, and some or stamped on the actual dip stick, any autoparts store will know the specific kind, and it is generally on the fluid containers also. Hope this helps.
