Loses power while in drive.

You will have to repost and reword this problem... you say it wont move, but that it loses power while driving. how is it losing power while driving if it wont move?

try a tune up and filter changes and repost for me...unless ignition module is getting hot and momentarily shutting off..

IM GUESSING BUT IT COULD BE THE IGNITION OR NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH.

The most common reason for this condition is a faulty ignition switch. It loses contact momentarily while cranking, causing a voltage loss to the security system and starts the 10 minute security timer in the computer. It will not start until the timer runs out. Usually the key has to be left on after a start attempt for the ten minutes. Some cars require 30 minutes. I hope this helps you and please rate this,

Sounds like your fuel filter need's to be changed. Start with that and good luck.

Check out the vwfixx.com forum online. One guy has a step by step procedure on removing the ignition, says it takes about a half an hour.

i doubt there is a recall for that problem. but a couple of good guesses would be ignition switch or maybe distributor. is the ck engine lite on?

It sounds like your car has an intermittent open current feed problem. Has there been any electrical/component repair or replacement recently? If so, that would be a starting point for diagnosis. Sounds like an ignition switch type problem. If you had an intermittent battery connection, the car would continue to run from the alternator output, but would not cause the warning lights to go through their initial "bulb check" sequence. But if "on" voltage is lost at the ignition switch, or that circuit, it would.

danm my crv does exaclty wat u guys are talking about but the dealership wont give me a solution straight answer
