My dodge stratus is making loud humming noise

Im trying to figure out if my car needs new braking fluid, new rotor, or something with the tires. I hear a loud humming noise after passing 30 mph and it only gets louder as I go on. besides the noise the car runs fine. shifts on time. it breaks perfectly, makes good turns and it doesn't smell like burning. I have no clue what it could be

SOURCE: 1997 Dodge Stratus, unknown roar

Try replacing the front end wheel baring(s) If it is a roar that you can hear resonating from the windows, this is most likely it.

SOURCE: loud humming noise from front end of Durango 4 x 4

You have a hub/wheel bearing going out. You need to jack up the vehicle on each side. Grab the top and bottom of the wheel and try to move it in/out at the top and bottom. If this does not work then roll the wheel as fast as you can and see if you can hear which one it is. Good Luck.

SOURCE: Screeching noise coming from driver side tire

The high pitch sound may come from the brake pads as metal parts hit the disc to signal the owner that it needs change. The metal parts gets exposed when the pads have worn out. The brake also has a hub to cover the disc. See if the metal plate is hitting it but this issue would appear when the wheels are in motion. Check if it is the belts, have the tension checked out. Other than that the bearings are the other items on your wheel that could cause a high pitched sound when you car is in motion.

I have a 2012 dodge caravan, has a bit of vibration under driver floor, and makes a loud whining or humming noise while accelerating.

Check the wheel bearing. If over or under torqued, it may give problems. Check the drive shaft is not bent from hitting a large stone whilst moving.

Front right tire makes a grinding noise , hub assembly has been replace problem stills there, what will be the problem?

It could be a lemon replacement hub or it could actually be the tire. Check the tires tread for irregular wear patterns. If the hub was loose prior to change this could easily cause the tire to wear in a "choppy" fashion which can also cause a rough humming sound that I have often heard customers refer to as a grinding sound.

Front drivers side disc brake on 2001 dodge stratus. put on new rotor and brake pads. Get up to around 5mph it makes a noise, until brakes are hit. accelerate the noise starts again. outer brake pad is...

The piston from the caliber will keep the inner and outer pads close to the rotor. If outer pads is loose, need to reassemble to find out if it didn't get installed right.
