Front suspension diagram (knock noise)
SOURCE: replace front brake pads on 1988 Nissan Navara Twin Cab utility
It should be a matter of removing the wheel, the caliper and torque
member to get the rotor to come off. There are two bolts that hold the
caliper on the torque member and then another two that hold the torque
member on the spindle hub. Now, the rotor comes off the wheel studs
and you should be there.
Let me know if you need further help. If you need a diagram, I would suggest buying a Haynes Manual from a local NAPA, Autozone, or Checker, or even a Fleet Farm and those will have complete instructions and diagrams for everything on the vehicle and are a great thing to have for every vehicle that you own.
If you have any other questions, please let me know, thanks.
SOURCE: front suspension bottoms out after new shockers
either you fitted the wrong length shockers or they are way too soft.(the springs give you the ride hight, the shockers stop bounce....)so you have too much travel, could also be springs nackered.if it bottomed out before.
