Have changed out just about everthing new plugs wires rotor distributer just about all relays on top of motor runs fine when on road
Clean your throttle body.
check for codes; you might have a map sensor problem, or your tps might have a dead spot. 9 times out of ten it is a dirty throttle body; the iac can't react fast enough to regulate air when the small gap adjustment of the throttle body gets contaminated with a tarry buildup.
Robert I rebuilt the throttle body still have erratic idle and stalls out sometimes when at stop signs or red lights I have to krrp foot on gas to keep from stalling out it always restarts well so far
Rabin i replaced the EGR valve in true shade tree mech. fashion I have replaced just about everything
Thomas i'm getting between 9 - 13 i believe im in the specs
have not dropped tank but will do so soon I did replace fuel pump & filter about 8 month ago it would be the first time i have bought a defective part , but my pressure seems to be good
it would not be
after pump install about 5 months later I started getting some stalling it has gotten worse over time

sounds like the EGR valve is sticky, take a small screw driver and tap the valve when the engine is at idle and you will notice a change in the way the engine runs, if the vehicle smooths out disconnect the valve and drive the vehicle and it should not cut off please let me know and dont forget to rate me!!

I am not sure but you might want to check the pressure of the fuel pump.

Check fuel flter at fuel pick-up intank (looks like a small wire sock). Remove fuel filter and fitting at fuel rail. Blow out fuel lines w/about 35lbs air press. Ck electrical @ relay - should be 4 connectors - one is key on hot/one is always hot/one is ground and last is hot to fuel pump. Good Luck

before you drop tank again, check fuses & relay.then disconnect fuel line @ filter turn key to on position should hear fuel pump run and get gas stream out of line. if no flow from line new pump faulty be sure & remove negative battery cable first good luck.

you could have a valve stem seal bleeding down when the truck sits causing the blue smoke on start up and if bad enough may be fouling that spark plug with oil I have an 89 k5 blazer with 140k on the clock it does the same thing on cold starts and is a common problem on older hige milage gm v8s. also stick with ac delco plugs.
