How would i know if my EGR VALVE OR MY EGR selenoid is bad?and would this also stop my car from shifting?

Check and make sure you didnt bend a pin when plugging the wire connection in.

Disconnect vacuum supply hose to EGR V.R. solenoid at the solenoid. Connect the vacuum supply hose to a vacuum gauge. Start engine and check the vacuum at idle. Is the supply vacuum greater than 10 in-Hg (34 kPa) ?

do you check the egr valve or the selenoid ........ look with the engine runing pull the trotle cable to rev the engine check the diagram from the egr valve is going to move at all times and the engine is going to missfire ........ then desconect the little hose from the egr selenoid rev the engine 2000 rpm you will see the diference

Check your main relay. It powers the fuel pump and the ignition system. They are a known problem, with a high failure rate, on the 90-93 accords. I do believe it's worth checking.

THE IAC VALVE (IDLE AIR CONTROL) MAYBE DIRTY OR STICKING,TRY CLEANING THE THROTTLE BODY WHERE IAC VALVE IS. IF THAT DOES NOT WORK REPLACE IAC VALVE.

THIS IS A COMMON CODE.. THIS IS A PRESSURE SELENOID LOCATED INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION.... SOMETIMES CALLED A SHIFT SELENOID... THERE IS A FIRST TO SECOND SHIFT SELENOID AND A SECOND TO THIRD AND A THIRD TO OVERDRIVE... THE SHORT CIRCUIT CODE CAN BE TWO THINGS.. FIRST A BAD SPOT IN WIRING HARNESS CAUSING SHORT CONDITION.. DOUBTFULL... OTHER CONDITION IS THE SELENOID ITS SELF COULD BE GOING BAD DRAWING MORE CURRENT THAN NORMAL. THIS WILL REGISTER THIS CODE....YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE TRANSMISSION PAN TO EXSPOSE THE VALVE BODY.. THERE YOU WILL SEE SEVERAL SHIFT SELENOIDS...WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE REPLACEMENT IT WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD IDEA WHAT TO LOOK FOR....THEY JUST PLUG IN AND 1 OR 2 SCREWS HOLD THEM IN.... LET ME KNOW IF MORE HELP NEEDED

Chrysler has electronic selenoids inside their transmissions. (extremely problematic and not necessary) Its sounds like the selenoid in your transmission is unable to electronically shift when it is warm. You need to replace the selenoid inside transmission. This will cost you at least 500$ I would reccommend replacing your vehicle. I have only had nightmare problems when it comes to MOPAR aka chrysler products.

that code is your egr valve or your egr solenoid.sometimes you can remove valve and clean thoroughly with brake cleaner for a cherap alternative.
