Thats probably your current drain.
See if you can find the relay and what it controls.
Pull it out and see if the current drain stops by using a test light between the battery and one of the cables.

SOURCE: need radio code for my 2006 honda ridgeline.

Code can be found on a credit card like card found included in your owners manual kit. Follow instructions in owners manual on resetting code. Key position in ignition is critical for it to work as is the time it allows you to enter the code. If car was purchased used most Honda dealers will provide you with the number. Best of luck.

SOURCE: My battery periodically goes dead overnight, I

Most likely you need a repair or new ignition key, but:
1. 4.5 V is too low, even once discharged so much, it can be damaged. So charge it with the charger, measure the voltage, leave it overnight at room temperature, but not the sleeping room, connect a headlight bulb or similar for about 10-20 mins and check the voltage.
2. As per the car, once you start the engine, fix the throttle a bit over idle and while having the voltmeter connected to the plus and minus just after the battery, remove the minus from the battery. If there is a current, battery is charging. There is also a regulator to avoid overcharging, but it is probably ok in your case.

New battery keeps going dead when car shut off overnight

Sounds like a slow drain - like a dome light or short in the wiring.
If the battery stays charged when it is disconnected, you'll have to check for a power drain in the car.

Hi, wish you could help me, i take keys off the switch and unplug the batey by bearly tuching it with the cable terminal there is a small sparking gap betwen it, i have taken off all the fuses and relays...

It makes a clicking noise to when doing this? The newer cars will spark with everything turned off when hooking up the negative battery cable. There is a relay that it has to trip to disconnect the battery from the electrical system. Is it running the battery dead, or did you just notice this when installing a new battery?

My 2009 Honda Ridgeline won't start?... Everything seems to be working but will not start. You can hear a lot of clicking sound. Please help as soon as you can... Thank You in Advance, GENE...

Is it only clicking when you turn the key and you are not hearing the engine turn over?
If that is the case, it is either the starter, the starter solenoid, or the starter relay.... unless your battery or battery connections are bad.

An "old school" test....

Turn on the headlights and turn the key. If they dim out to nothing, either the battery is dead or the battery connections are bad.

If the engine cranks.....

A quick "old timers check"... Fuel, spark, air.....

Fuel- tank not empty, gas is getting to engine? (you need somebody who knows a little about cars to check this)

Spark- again, you need somebody who knows a little about cars- pull a spark plug wire and connect it to an old spark plug, allowing it to lay on a piece of metal. Crank the engine and see if it sparks... HIGH VOLTAGE!!!! DO NOT HOLD IT!!! IT WILL HURT ALLOT IF YOU DO!!!!

Air.... Is the air filter clogged? Hold it up to some light and if you cannot see light through it, it is bad.

My battery periodically goes dead overnight, I have replaced the battery. It is ok. I put the charger on the battery and the car will go for months as if nothing is wrong. Some times I have noticed when I...

The clicking and jumping has to do with a lack of available voltage in the battery. It should be at 100% (12.6 volts) You need to find out why the battery is going dead and you need to know that the charging system is fine. (while the car is running, vehicle is charging between 13.5 and 14 volts) Maybe a light is staying on in the glove box, under the hood, or in the trunk. But don't confuse symptoms, You need to find out why the battery is being drained down, after that the other complaints should disappear.
