As it is a possibility some vehicles dont run with a faulty cam sensor . But if you are getting a cam sensor fault after head gasket id be rechecking the engine timing .

I think you are referring to either a Crankshaft position sensor or a Camshaft position sensor. I've included a tutorial video below:

they are right these two sensors will out out time in the computer so replace your cam sensor.

TRY A TUNE UP OR THE COIL PACK I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM
