Look under the side kick panels on each floor board and you will see a connector that goes to the power doors,(it just won't be hooked to anything since the car didn't have the power doors) you can look at the wire colors from the wires on the door and match them to the colors on the connector.(you may also have to add a fuse in the fuse box for them to be powered)

I have a 1999 BMW 328iS. Windows don't work! Have done a lot to troubleshoot the problem! What next?

It might be a coincidence with the sun roof, but all makes and models of cars have window and door lock problems with age. Two things happen as a car ages. In most cases, the drivers door opens and closes more often than the rest of the doors, also your more likely to leave the drivers window open and it rains in on the controls. The majority of the time, it's the wiring at the door hedge that bends back and forth & breaks when you get in and out of your vehicle. Everyone's situation is different depending on use/mileage.
Example: Delivery driver, miles 50k window/door lock problem.
Highway daily driver 150k miles with no problems.

You can sometime check this your self. Turn on your ignition where the windows should work. "engine does not have to start" Sit in the drivers seat, hold down the window up/down button while moving the door in question to open & close. If the window tries to move at any time, the wires are wore in half. This does not always work, but I have had great luck trouble shooting electrical door problems using this method. If you have doors with no wires, clean the contact points. Hatchbacks & minivans use this system. Hope this helps.

Will a1996 honda civic front door fit 2000 honda civic dx

The body style was the same from 1996 to 2000 for the Honda Civic. Are both of the Civics similar in body style as in they have the same number of doors? Not sure if a wagon or hatchback would interchange with a regular 2 door coupe.

My rear doors to my 2008 gti hatchback wont lock, the front doors do lock, and the alarm is on and working, except that the back doors WON'T lock. What could it be?

Hi,
Do the windows work from the driver's control? Do they work on the doors? Checking the windows to see if there's Power to the doors.
I'm guessing it's either a fuse (but not sure why only the front doors would be on the fuse) or it's a bad connection @ the doors.

How to install a new power window motor in my 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis? I have a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis Ls and the power window doesn't work. So then I bought some new window motors and I was...

Remove all screws to door panel. Remove the lock and window controls. Then take large flat-tip screwdriver and gently pry directly next to plastic studs holding panel on to door. Lift door panel off. Remove plastic out of the way. You will now have access to window motor. You may have to solder off old wiring. Or if you have enough to cut, would be good

Trying to find a key code location for 89 toyota tercel hatchback one key fits all

Hello

I did a key code search on a 1993 toyota corolla . The key code was located on the passenger front doors lock cylinder (door lock tumbler). You have to disassemble the door panel and remove the lock cylinder from the door to read the tiny numbers on the lever of the lock cylinder..I would recommend calling your local toyota dealer and confirming it is on the lock cylinder before tearing apart the door....You would have to give them the code to get a new key cut. hope this info helps..

Power window not working

it sounds by the motor clicking that your power window motor is shot.....If you jump 12 volts to the terminals on the motor does it work?.................if it does you can at least get it up.......if you put the power to it and it goes down reverse the wires on the terminals and it will go up.But it sounds to me like you need a new one.
hope this helps!..............Good luck!
