SOURCE: Fuel filter and pump location

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank while the filter is located in the hood close to the panel.

Testimonial: "Good info but what panel does he mean? "

SOURCE: bmw 325tds diesel flowing back to tank when parked

usual problem ,valves in injector worn for the fuel pump.easy quick fix this one ,fit a non return valve in the inlet pipe, check flow direction on valve when fitting and evan better as well is another in the bleed off return pipe .valves available from a motor factor or a specialist garage like bosch or lucas ,cut pipe and fit the valve with a piece of rubber pipe to connect the valve in line.or listen to the people who want to milk the golden cow and have the whole injector pump overhauled .

How to change fuel pump in a 2004 bmw x3 3.0

You must remove the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. This is no fun without a car lift and much heavy equipment is needed and a good amount of car repair knowledge and a full set of hand tools. If you have none or very little of the listed things then leave it to and expert.. DONOT USE ANY TOOLS THAT CAN SPARK.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2006 bmw 325i

Like many late model cars there is no external separate fuel filter, it is part of the pressure regulator and is located on the top of the fuel tank, you must drop the tank top replace it. According to BMW this is never needed unless the fuel tank is removed to service the fuel pump module.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2006 bmw z4?

Hi, On the E85, MY03 - 09 a seperate fuel filter is absent. Unlike the E36/E46 which has an inline filter and is reaplceable as part of the maintenance items, the E85 does not have this 'feature'. The fuel filter is an integral part of the intank fuel pump [ which i believe is like the strainer.

In order to change the ff the entire pump assembly has to be replaced. On the safer side this is one of those items best left to be done by the dealer.

Replace Fuel Filter on 2006 Chevy Aveo Hatchback

If the fuel filter is mounted inside the fuel tank at the pump it does not need replacing and is a permanent filter. All you have to do it follow the fuel lines from the fuel tank to the engine. If the filter is mounted in the fuel line you will find it.
