Really sounds like one of 2 possible problems.
First, perhaps the door latch itself is broken, and that is unlikely, except that I am unfamiliar with that particular latch on that particular car.
Second, it sounds like, if you were to take the door panel off, you would find the latch is locked because one of the locking levers is holding the door latch locked.
There or 2 or 3 lever like things that affect the latch.
There is a lever from the outside door lock that goes to the door latch.
There is a lever from the inside locking handle that goes to the door latch, and yet may be one more.
If any of these are "stuck" or broken, they will "hold" the door latch in the locked position.
Be blessed.

hello on the door locks not working could be a couple problems open the driver side door and were the door hinges are there is a small tube with wires in there that runs from the door into the side of the kick panel inside of the car these wires are your windowns locks and more now were the door open you will have to cut tube with a razr knife so you can see if any of the wires are broken now if there is no wires broken now the power door lock actuators inside the front right-and left door could be bad or the door look swiches this is not unlikey you can check this by removing the door panel you will see a rod or cable going from the door lock down the bottom of the door
now on the key not working that sounds like the door lock rods there that hooks to the lock on the inside of the door is off or one of the plastic clips that hold the rods has broken if it is not locking or unlocking your doors it is not unlikey for both sides to be broken you will have to remove the door panels to check

Hi what is happening is that your turn off your car and left the wheels turned to one side and specially if your car is parke in a hill what you have to do is to force the steering wheel to the same direction of your wheels this will free up the ignition switch it is going to be hard let me tell you but it will work and this is why your shift don't work once you have the ignition switch free then your shift will work again

With the key in the ignition, tap on the key with something heavy like a pair of pliers, screwdriver etc. It will cause the pin inside the mechanism to drop, and the iginition will turn. Happened to me today, worked like a charm.
