check the cig lighter / accessory fuse

OBD ports HAVE TO BE within 3 feet of the steering column.
3 feet means some are just on the other side of the center transmission shifter area. Yours may be in the fuse box in the lower dash.

the other old-school way was to access the ECU of the vehicle itself & turn the screws to set it to "trouble code mode" and watch the flashing LEDs and count them...

I'd get the OBD codes read as this will pinpoint the sensor/switch at fault ,if there is a fault, save you time and money if you do it this way

The OBD port is almost always on the druver's side, beneath the dash. With the seat fully slid back, you can lay on your back and look for it. There may be a small cover on it.

You can try your local dealership. Usually print out for free if not a couple bucks.
