If the motor does not crank and the dash lights come and other lights . check the starter or starter relay

looks like its above the axel on the engine side . above oil filter . you should be able to find it from there , best picture i could find .

The motor is gone and the switch could be gone too.
I would replace both to be on the safe side.
The switch is not that expensive. The motor is more expensve.

You will need to know the bulb number and the any auto supply store should be able to cross it to the proper socket,pick up some b.u.t.t. connectors while you are there to fasten the old wires to the new connector.

Don't try start the engine when the oil light turn on, it would harm your piston, camshaft and crankshaft
It should be the oil pump has broken and need to replace, tow your car to the nearest service center
