Check if the axle is perpendicular to the glass surface. If so, replase the arm because the spring is out.

Are you sure the blade is OK? You can mount a 21" blade to left and right side.

SOURCE: windshield wiper

Check to see if the wiper motor moves the passenger side. If so, You may need to tighten the nut that connects the arm to the motor. Mine was stripped out because or snow & ice. So, I went to home depot and found a lock washer to fit.

One windshield wiper not working

Maybe the nut that hold the wiper to the linkage is either loose or stripped? The linkage itself is bad?

I think your wiper motor is fine because the passenger side works and uses the same motor to move the wipers.

Wind shield wiper fluid does not come out of the driver's side wiper but the passenger side works fine. How do I get the driver's side to work?

follow the rubber tubing from the passenger side, from where the fluid exits back towards the resivor and u will find a tee fitting where the tubing splits from pasenger to driver side. take it apart and blow compressed air thru it.

1999 Ford Expedition. My driver's side windshield wiper is not moving as much as the passenger side wiper. Also, when I try to manually move the wipers, I can move the driver's side wiper, but not the...

You may want to remove the cover over the wiper nut and tighten it down. Make sure you don't exceed the torque settings. The nuts have a tendency to back off causing the wipers (or one wiper) to slip.

2006 hhr passenger side windshield wiper not moving but drivers side is fine??

First remove the complete passenger side wiper check and make sure splines on wiper are not stripped. If this is not the problem It could be a linkage bar from the wiper motor to the wiper off or disconected. Since both wipers share the same motor if one works the other should. Check this by removing both wipers and then "Cawl" (little black piece between the hood and windshield underneath the wipers) Underneath the cawl you should be able to see the windshield wiper motor, and linkage bar to both of the wipers. See if the bar is disconected from the passenger side. If it is than reconnect it. These are the only two possible scenarios.

1999 Buick Centery passenger side windshield wiper

Sounds like you need two new wiper motors. I beliveve the gearing inside the motors are worn out and now theres alot of play in them. Try wiggling the wipers with you hands and see if you can feel any up or down / side to side movement.

03 Taurus wiper problem

What I would suggest you do is the following:

1) Remove the driver side wiper (arm & blade).
2) Start the car and turn on the wipers.
3) When the passenger wiper is straight up and down .. turn off the car. This leaves the wiper in position.
4) Re-install the drivers side wiper and put it back on so its position is the same as the passenger - making them parallel

Start the car and test
