Bought a 1997 ford f150 heater blew out cold air , lot said they would fix it,i took it to there garage they tried to clean heater core but had to replace it worked good for 5 days started to blow warm air again
took it back they said they flushed radiator,i saw a couple quarts of cleaner not sure how they flushed .worked they said but started to blow warm air as soon as i drove it
took it back they flushed rad again replaced thermostat they said it worked but when i drove it it was warm air again
took it back they took out radiator took to rad shop shop said it couldnt be cleaned or rotted out garage put another radiator still blows out warm air
now they say it needs a water pump i said the heater core probally dirty from dirty radiator they said they cleaned it it dont leak it dont run hot
it just blows warm air

the lot is paying for it,i think the core is filthy again,i think they flush with out a machine the rad was so dirty the rad shop couldnt clean it so they replaced it so do you think the core should be taken out and cleaned or replaced again or maybe the control valve what ever that is
My personal belief as an old shade tree "mechanic" is that it has to be electrical and has something to do with the installation of the new ignition switch module that was installed. Maybe a coincidence, but that's my idea
