Honda Jazz (2007) with a non-working interior light

I have a Honda Jazz (2007) with a non-working interior light, trivial but annoying. I have checked the bulb with a meter and it is OK and the contacts and switch appear OK. Which fuse is it, as no fuse in either fuse box or in the manual seems to operate this light? Thanks, Will.

I should also mention that everything else electrical is working fine, as was the interior light (I think also known as a "dome" light) until a couple of weeks ago. Will.

Jacker

conner you are 10 years late.
so manual on fails
and door open dome fails, and the switch not set to ALL MOdes off?
hhhhhhhhhhhh read the users guide on dome lamp.
oops no jAZZ in USA, so no books
most cars 2007 the lamps are BCM body brain operated
and have no dedicated fuse to DOME at all, like seen in the 1990s' back.
the best I can guess is the head lamp switch if you looked close has dome option. there.
on, off, auto
off makes it dead all the time
auto makes door switchs turn on dome.
most cars are in fact fully programmable by you and is cover in the jazz operator guide in the glove box day1, new, lost it?
HONDA has it ,ask them, it is free.

here are the words you never read,in the glove box
as you can sees this is no 1990 are it has a brain now.
that fools many now.(then) this magic prevents battery dead.
we love it, for sure stranded by lamps left on.

SOURCE: 2003 Pontiac Bonneville Interior lights dont work

There is another fuse box under the back seat that has the fuse for the interior lights. I have the same problem. I keep replacing fuses but they keep blowing. I don't know what to do.

SOURCE: brake lights don't come on. checked fuse box,

look up above your brake pedal and you will see the switch.. It will either between the firewall and the pedal arm (switch moves in when you brake).. Or it will be between the pedal arm and the dash (switch moves out when you brake)

My left turn signal for my Honda Civic 2007 doesn’t work, the fuses and rally work perfectly, what should I do?

1. Pressed the hazard switch. Right side OK, but no left turn signal or lights.

2. Checked the tail turn signal by swapping passenger and driver bulbs. (bulbs twist out). At least the rear bulbs were OK. The wiring seemed intact, with no water leaks, etc.

3. Tested the circuit by removing flasher relay. Inserted a jumper wire between the 2 and 6 locations (Thanks to the message in this thread). The front, rear and dash turn lights all checked OK.

4. Replaced the relay - Honda part 38300-SDB-A03. $23 bucks at local dealer.

5. YAHOO - it worked.

Could be just fuse blown, or headlight bulb blown, if both ok, check headlight contactor.

Bypass head light switch and see what you get. Three items can cause your problem . The head light switch, flasher relay , shorts in circuit. I would go with switch.

Map light fuse on 2008 f 350????

The interior map lamps are powered buy the battery saver relay ( non serviceable relay ) Which is powered by Fuse #25 ( cab fuse panel ).
This is for the engine compartment and illuminated vanity lamps, as well as the map lights.

The FET ( Field-Effect Transistor ) shows the fuse #9 also on it. ( marked interior lighting ), which power the interior lamps ( door / switch ).

Could be a few things if both those fuses are OK.

1. The map / interior lamp combos are usually dual element bulbs, which means if the interior lamps ( door or dimer switch on headlamp panel ) are OK, it could still be a burn out bulb.

2. The FET is having an issue from a dead short ( blown bulb or dead short to ground ). Until the short is correct, the FET will not turn back on.

Start with checking Fuse #9 ( marked as Fuse #8 in the diagram, but that shows headlamp ), which is to the interior lamps, and drives 1 side of the FET.

1990 honda accord, all tail lights not working, checked bulbs ok, could not find fuse.

There are two fuse boxes--one under the dash by the left foot rest which handles most of the interior circuits, and one under the hood on the left side to the rear of the battery for the headlights and other high-drain equipment. Each should have a diagram on the cover. Check all related fuses again.
If that doesn't solve it, you have either a grounding issue or a short in the wiring harness. Check each lead with a voltage meter to narrow down the location.

My car is a Honda Civic 2007 model. The dome light

of the switch is working properly ON/OFF/DOORS , and the fuse is good. verify that there is voltage to the bulb. take a test light an dcheck each end of the bulb when it should be on. NO VOLTAGE-=problem between fuse and light. VOLTAGE on both ends of bulb= bad ground, usually there is a screw that may be loose holding the light up, loosen and tighten all screws up there.

Rear interior light and door courtesy lights not working- Jaguar

take off the cover and replace them. if you have a volt/ohm meter you can put if on the car side and make sure you have voltage and the ohm meter on the buldb should give a 1 rating if its good. it would be the cheapest and easiest to just get a new bulb and see if it works then start checking fuses if its not the bulb.
