1996 gmc truck with a problem code P1192 and p0700 what do I do?

Here's what my service manual says:

EATX Controller DTC Present

This SBEC III or JTEC DTC indicates that the EATX or Aisin controller has an active fault and has illuminated the MIL via a CCD (EATX) or SCI (Aisin) message. The spscific fault must be acquired from the EATX via CCD or from the Aisin via ISO-9141.

Here's what I know: MIL=malfunction indicator light; DTC=diganostic trouble code; CCD=Chrysler collision detection. Beyond that, I'm clueless. Sounds like it needs to be read out at the dealer. Then again, if it was a one-time glitch, it might clear itself after several drive cycles.

P0154 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1). You have a bad O2 Sensor. I dont know how your O2 sensors are labeled, but your local auto parts store should help you with that one. Good luck to you. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hello there,

You can check in the side of the block, above the starter for the crankshaft sensor. As for the camshaft sensor, for a 8.1L engine, it is located on the front of the enigne, that is, at the driver side. You would notice it is a grey 3 wire connector. But for a 5.3/6.0L enigne, it is on top of the engine in the back.
