sounds like a fuel problem. start by checking or replacing fuel filter. then do a pressure check of fuel pump and system if need be. if the car lacks power under load or when you gas it, it is a fuel system problem. and it will not hurt to look and see if air filter is ok! have a good holiday !!
You need to get your fuel tank drained and cleaned and your fuel filter replaced.
This may be a rather expensive operation. Afterwards, you may have to rectify any other parts which have also been damaged.
You should never run your car with contaminants in the fuel - otherwise you risk increasing the damage and the cost to repair it.
Sorry for the bad news,
Sherwin
Have you chg.fuel filter and had a fuel pressure test done? Does it have spark after it stalls? Fuel pumps are a common problem, they work when cold get warmed up they quit, after a while quit all together. Do the fuel pressure test.
