If this smoke last for a long time or get worst as this vehicle get warmed up or when vehicle is hot. YOU HAVE A BAD HEAD GASKET TO SAY THE LEAST or may be blown/craked head. Check oil and coolant for mixture with a bad gasket oil and antifreeze should be mixing depending on how long its been since this happen. Check under oil cap for creamish white residue that a sure tell tale sign. Check for fan running constantly or vehicle over heating. Good luck contact if you need more help and thanks for using FIX YA.

Engine concern

Smoke (blue or black) or steam (white)? White smoke is really steam that is caused by water leaking onto hot surface. Could be leaking from hose running to heater coil under dash, or something else. Check radiator water level to make sure water level is ok. Blue smoke is oil burning. This could be dangerous, caused by similar scenario of oil leaking on a hot surface (from a gasket leak, etc), or exhaust fumes. Black smoke means something is actually burning and could indicate fire. Black or blue some could fill vehicle cabin with toxic fumes, even if you don't smell anything bad.

Why is there white smoke coming out of the air vents in my 1995 grand marquis

It is either steam from the cooling system and will have an odor, or is frost from the a/c system due to a system that is restricted and freezing up. Or you car is on fire. If it smells like smoke, run or you will die from smoke inhalation or burning to death.

My car over heated and now my exhaust is throwing out white smoke.

White smoke in the exhaust is classic blown head gasket. Pull the dip stick and see if there is water in the oil. Have your mechanic do the test for blown head gasket to confirm.

My friend, this will not get any better. lease have the problem corrected as soon as you can. The best 'fix' for this 15 year old car may be a trade.

White and gray smoke coming out back and underneath 1995 Chevy Bl

Too late to check now... you've got a blown head gasket. When the gauge starts to give you any indication that something's not right you must shut it down or this kind of thing happens. Could have started as a bad water pump, hose etc. With low coolant from that (or anything else) continued operation will kill the whole thing!...Sorry!!

Smoke

This is caused when oil gets passed the rings n the pistons. Its due to wear and tear or old motor needs rebuilt. now you can put a bottle of motor honey in it. or some of that smoke be gone you find in wal-mart auto section of store this will greatly reduce your white smoke till you can get it rebuilt .
